We’ve been using this service since late spring and love it. We’re keeping food waste out of the landfill and love that it converts into compost. Happy with multiple location drop offs. It’s so easy to exchange our full food waste bucket for a new one. However, haven’t gotten compost in awhile bc none has been available.
I really like this service - friendly staff, convenient times and location, good value. And it makes me more conscious of my food waste. Thank you!!
Mother Nature is the best System Engineer I know. Composting is one of her best tools. Thanks for taking this task on for us. I split my time btw HI & NY. Our composter in NY has a Pay as you go system: $50 to join & 1st bucket. Then $8/bucket return. Pretty sure we get 1 (maybe 2) 5lbs bags of compost/year. I’m OK with current system since I can cancel out a month or two if I’m not on island.
We’ve been composting with Leftover Love for many years and it is fantastic! It’s easy, clean, and you get amazing compost. Best of all, they are good people doing great things for the ‘aina.
I love having this service available. My only complaint is that there is no easy drop off in Kailua other than the farmer's market. It's hard to find a parking place close to the drop off location and lugging the buckets from a few blocks away is not fun.
